Our client in Hayes, VA is getting a family home ready to put on the market. Before they could list the property, some work needed to be done, including removing the items in the home. The garage, porch, kitchen, dining room, living room, and bedrooms, all had items to be sorted through.
Our luggers set to work sorting through all the items with care. All donatable items throughout the home were taken to local donation centers such as Goodwill, Habitat for Humanity, and the Salvation Army. These items included furniture, clothing, household items, sofas, chairs, a dining table, and even outdoor tools.
Anything that could not be donated was taken to local recycling centers to prevent waste from going into our landfills. Most recyclable items include metal, boxes, cardboard, plastics, and old electronics. Some items such as household chemicals will be safely disposed of at a local center as well.
