The Junkluggers of Williamsburg is honored to partner with a network of charities in our community to serve our number one goal- to keep useful items out of landfills.

Our mission is to enhance lives, our communities, and the environment by donating, repurposing, recycling, and supporting local charities. Not only are your items going to a great cause, but you are also benefiting in the form of a tax-deductible receipt for items we are able to donate on your behalf. Professional Organizations:

Capital Carpet Services

Founded in 2002, Capital Carpet and Services has been cleaning all of Tidewater since its ownership change in 2017. They specialize in cleaning carpets, area rugs, upholstery, tile, and grout in both commercial and residential properties. Capital Carpet and Services uses truck Mounted Hot Water Extraction, the preferred method of cleaning by carpet manufacturers. The cleaning products they use remove most pollutants and allergens and they have committed to using products that are environmentally friendly and biodegradable.

Creating Space - Professional Organizer

Creating Space is a locally owned, small business that is here to make your life less cluttered and more functional. They can help you decide what stays and what goes, pack your items that are being donated or moved to a new location, and can even help you unpack if needed.

Non-profit Organizations:

Habitat for Humanity - Peninsula & Greater Williamsburg

Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg partner with area faith groups, businesses, volunteers, donors, and local government to build and renovate affordable homes for sale to qualifying families. An ecumenical group of individuals formed this local affiliate in 1985. We started our first home in 1986 and, since then, our affiliate has built and renovated over 200 houses in our local community! Visit www.Habitatpgw.org to learn more.

Tyler's Ride

Our son Tyler, was taken from us in a horrible and tragic accident. We decided to honor Tyler's memory by following his passion for bike riding and creating this charity and donating bicycles to those who need them. Our purpose with this charity is to help as many people as possible and spread smiles throughout our community while honoring Tyler's memory.
